ei… ei… ei!
die zitronenfalter flüstern es schon… bald ist ostern!
the brimstone butterflies are already whispering… easter will be soon!
(dear native english/american speakers…i  must admit that i was kinda dissapointed about the word “brimstone butterfly” that i had to look up in the dictionary. brimstone is that yellow, smelly stuff, right? poor little butterfly… i guess it likes its german name more. we call it lemon butterfly! ;)
ihr wisst ja, ich bin neuerdings ganz verknallt in WASHI TAPE. herr pimpinella ist hoch erfreut darüber, denn diese tatsache hat ihm in diesem jahr das lästige eier auspusten erpart!
you know that i am smitten with WASHI TAPE lately. mr. pimpinella really appreciates my new love, because it saved him from having to blow out eggs this year!
statt der üblichen eierpinselei haben luzie und ich dieses mal weiße plastikeier mit buntem masking tape beklebt… auch schön oder? da staunt selbst die dicke hummel!
instead of painting eggs as usual luzie and me took white plastic eggs and embellished them with masking tape this time. even the plump bumblebee thinks they’re quite pretty!

Actually, in America I think we call them "suphur" butterflies, rather than brimstone. Different word, same stink. I like the German word better. :)
