sind das jetzt urlaubs-nachwehen oder erste anzeichen der herbstes? man weiß es nicht! tatsache ist, dass das fräulein des hauses beim anblick der baumgroßen kandelaber-kakteen in afrika schon feststellte, sie bräuchte mehr kakteen in ihrem leben. außerdem scheint sie beim jahreszeitenwechsel mittlerweile der gleiche einrichtungs- und umdekorier-trieb zu packen, wie mich selbst. die kaktusfeige fällt eben nicht weit vom stamm. mal gucken, was sich im zimmer unseres teenies in den nächsten wochen noch so tut. vor einigen tagen sind auf jeden fall erst einmal ein paar stachelige zimmergenossen eingezogen.
is this a sign of vacation aftermath or first signs of autumn? who knows! an established fact is, that the young fräulein mentioned that she desperately needed more cacti in her life while experiencing the tree-high candelabra trees in africa. moreover it seems like she gets into a state of interior and decorating mood as the seasons change. well, she’s just like me – a chip off the old block cactus. so let’s see what will change in the fräulein’s room over the next few weeks. first of all some new spiny pals moved in
eingepflanzt haben wir die kakteen dann in blech! die pinke emaille-tasse mit den tollen afrikanischen motiven musste neulich mit, als wir {wegen des regens leider nur kurz} auf dem AFRIKAfest in ALTONA vorbeischauten und sie an dem wirklich tollen stand von TRUSTED ROOTS entdeckten. die allseits bekannte flache teedose hat ihre wurzeln in paris und die longevity-dose links enthielt einmal asiatische, gesüßte kondensmilch {die sicherlich nicht unbedingt für ein gesundes, langes leben sorgt}.

die neuen grünen kumpel wurden zusammen mit reise-souvenirs, postkarten und fotos arrangiert und bilden nun ein hübsches fernweh-ensemble im zimmer des fräuleins. ich würde mal vermuten, es hat potential, noch zu wachsen.
