DECEMBER colors
where the heck did december go?
my neat plans to slow down in advent time (once again) didn’t work out so well… and now there are only two days to go until christmas eve.
once again i didn’t get to make an advent wreath myself, well… but i still like the purchased one with the colorful ball ornaments.
at least i made some colorful pompoms… not enough for an advent wreath, but…
… genug zum zweigbaumeln.
… enough to dangle on twigs.
i guess i’ll never manage to create a restrained christmas at our home… not even in front of our door.
but how could i ever celebrate a monochrome christmas? after all i was raised in the 70s… we always had a burst of colors and tons of tinsel!
selbst er mag es bunt und kuschelig.
he also likes it cozy and colorful.
P.S. because of him my nerves were on the edge since yesterday. for the first time he didn’t came home at night. so i’ve been spending the night on the floor, on a thin sunbed mat, right in front of the patio door… always with one eye open, afraid to miss him. at 4 in the morning the mister and i switched places and he kept watching drowsily. my morning was like torture… i couldn’t stop thinking that our christmas would be a very sad one this year. then at noon he stood there just like nothing ever happened. right now he’s laying here beside me on the couch while i’m typing… he’s purring… and i just can’t believe how much i love this furry guy.
