i think everyone knows this by
now, but i tell you once again… just in case. the GOOGLE reader will
go offline on 1st of july 2013! did you already save the rss feeds of
your favorite blogs and websites? no? then you better hurry, as the
countdown is on…
left out in sudden darkness on july 1st, i gathered some information…
you can export your collected rss feeds as an XML[zip]-file and save it on
your computer to have the opportunity to import in whatever RSS FEED
READER you like later. download your personal file HERE.
of course there are various feed readers available as alternative. me
personally, i didn’t check every option, so i only recommend the ones i
tried myself and regard as very good. there is BLOGLOVIN
for example. many of you know it and already love it. if you don’t have
an account yet, you have to create one [and set up a public profile if
you like] before you can start the transfer. as long as the google
reader is online, you can sychronize it directly with bloglovin. to do
so click HERE. if you want to import the XML_file, you downloaded and saved before, you can do so HERE.
the result is the same, of course. i think, i don’t have to mention,
that i’m really happy if luzia pimpinella belongs to the blog feeds you will
transfer. or do i? ;) HERE you can find luzia pimpinella on bloglovin. THANK YOU so much for following!
i also like the news look of FEEDLY a lot. i downloaded the reader as an add-on for my firefox browser. if
you did yourself as well, please make sure that you run the latest
version on your devices [to be absolutely sure re-install and re-fresh –
find more INFORMATION about that here].
your data will be transfered to the feedly cloud within the next
few days, so that they will be available, even if the google reader is
gone. find some usefull tips to set up and use your feedly HERE.
i got both rss readers – BLOGLOVIN and FEEDLY, on my mobile devices,
such as iPad and iPhone as well, by the way. ok… i hope, i could come up with some useful tips for you, no telleing everyone what he/she alsready
knows. after all, i just wanted to say this… STAY WITH ME! even if the
google reader will go. ;) hugs!
