bowl
we’ll have fish, baby! actually i wanted to take you to the new amsterdam market in NYC today, at least virtually. but we got stuck in travel planning for this summer over the weekend. so i just forgot about writing the posting… but postponed is not abandoned. i promise to take you there tomorrow.
you need following materials: a cutter mat, a metal ruler, a roller cutter and some scissors. a magic pen, some kamsnap press buttons (studs) and the tools (pricker and pliers)to fix them (i got my set from SNAPLY). matching thread and a sewing machine is nice to have but not mandatory. last but not least and very important… the wool felt. it should be at least 2 mm in thickness, 3 mm is even better (i’m purchasing my wool felt at MYMAKI).
not mandatory a cat gremlin alsways sitting right in midst of it all when you just set up everything for a photo shoot.
transfer the shape onto the felt and cut it out. i cut the outer lines with the roller cutter and the metal ruler and the diagonal cuts at the edges with the scissors.
maybe you like to make a set of bowls in different sizes, they are gorgeous to stack as a christmas or birthday giveaway. you will probably be able to make 3 bowls in three-quarters of an hour.
so have yourself a creative little advent time, peeps!
my GUEST today… yvonne from Frl. Klein!
darauf.
tic… i never ever can resist beautiful vases and my collection is constantly
growing. mr. pimpi is going nuts about that, but anyhow… wouldn’t you have
bagged this darling as well? with it’s stripes and even happy yellow
inside…!
also bitte…
the opportunity to grab a matching yellow candle holder and a pair of fine china birdies at
the same VINTAGEshop? you see…
(didn’t i say that vases are badly needed in every shape and color?
;)
ausprobiert.
we gotta try this.
P.S. thank you so much for all your lovely congratulations you left on my NINE-posting… i forwarded them to the birthday girl! :)
