… spaß ist, in hamburg auf den landungsbrücken auf einem poller zu stehen, mit den riesigen lila-gestreiften TRAVELLING SOCKS (edit: die schon an zahlreichen füßen, auf etlichen “bänken” rund um die welt standen) an deinen füßen und hamburg-fähnchen in der hand… in mitten von touristen-horden und neben einem feixendem barkassen-schiffer, der sich lauthals über dich lustig macht! *gacker*

… fun is to stand on a bollard on the landungsbruecken in the hamburg harbour with the huge purple striped TRAVELLING SOCKS (edit: which have suited many feet and stood on several “benches” around the world) on your feet and a hamburg-flag in your hand… in midst of gaggles of tourists strolling by and having a barge skipper nearby scoffing at you! *giggle*

krankenlager…
sick bed…
ich hab’ jetzt gesellschaft auf meinem krankenlager bekommen. mein lieblingsmann zeigt sich gern mal solidarisch, was grippale infekte angeht. nun ja, dann machen wir eben mal gemeinsam halblang… lesen, dösen, trashTV … während luzie mit oma & opa ausflüge ins planetarium macht.
und gute musik hören hilft ja angeblich auch beim gesundwerden…
got some sick bed company now. my hubby likes to express his solidarity with me concerning my cold. well, ok… so we let ourselves go a bit… reading, snoozing, trashTV… while luzie’s spending time with granny & grandpa at the planetarium.
supposedly good music’s got healing vibes too…
wer hätte gedacht, dass hupfdohlen-mucke in so etwas genial cooles verwandelt werden kann? *whao*

es ist gerade mal 2 wochen her, da kamen wir am montag aus dem urlaub zurück… sie gleichen jedoch einer gefühlten ewigkeit. vielleicht auch deswegen…. das kann einem so einiges vergrätzen.
doch jetzt brauche ich zwischendurch auch dringend mal wieder ein paar schöne gedanken und möchte ein bisschen meine erinnerungen zurückholen… ich gehe mal in meinen bildern kramen und zeige euch ein bisschen was davon die nächsten tage…
ich hoffe, das heitert dann nicht nur mich ein bisschen auf, sondern euch auch!?
it’s been 2 weeks only since we came back home from our vacation on a monday… but they feel like ages. maybe because of this… this spoiled a lot.
so i need some nice thoughts and memories badly at the moment… i better go rummaging in my pics and show you some soon…

wir waren den ganzen tag unterwegs! meine kleine schwester und ihr freund sind gerade zu besuch da… also haben wir sie auf eine hamburg-touri-tour geschleppt: hafencity, speicherstadt, landungsbrücken, fischmarkt & dom!!!

an solchen tagen gibt es “benches” in hülle und fülle!

diese riesigen holzstämme am fischmarkt mit den docks im rücken haben das rennen dann gewonnen… ich liebe den anblick der docks!… ebenso wie mein neues shirt samt röckchen, designed und handgemacht von meiner lieben und so talentierten “arbeitskollegin” ANDREA… jolijou!!! :)

we’ve been on tour all day long! my little sister and her boyfriend are visiting us at the moment… so we took them on a hamburg-touri-tour: hafencity, speicherstadt, landungsbrücken, fischmarkt & dom!

on a day like this, there are benches galore!

these trunks at the fischmarket in front of the docks made it … i love the docks! … as well as my new tee and skirt designed & handmade by my dear and so talented “workmate” ANDREA… jolijou!!! :)
