güldenen lieblingsschuhen herumspringe. klassischen edelmetall-schmuck werdet ihr bei mir trotzdem nicht finden… aber dafür hippe DIY handgelenk-zier im metallic-geo-look.
you probably know, that i have a oft spot for metallic colors. it’s no secret, because after all i’ve been wearing my
favorite golden shoes quite constantly for months now. i’m not so much into noble metall jewelry though. i prefer some hip DIY metallic geo cuffs around my wrist.

INSTAGRAM das HIER erluschert. gestickt habe ich direkt auf kunstleder [namens ALLOWAY], dass ich mir neu ich bei meinem
SWAFING messebesuch mitgenommen habe. da es relativ dünn ist, war es prima zu besticken. man sollte nur auf jeden fall darauf achten, dass es penibel mit stickvlies und sprühkleber [oder auch selbstklebendem stickviles] stabilisiert ist, da es sich sonst leicht mal beim sticken beulen und wellen kann.

INSTAGRAM the other day. i embroidered directly on fake leather [named ALLOWAY], that i brought from the
SWAFING in-house fair lately. it’s quite thin so it is easy to embroider with the machine. one should stabilize it properly though by taking emboidery stabilizer and adhesive spray [or self-adhesive stabilizer]. otherwise you might get bulges and wrinkles.
nach dem sticken musste das armband dann nur noch zugeschnitten und mit druckknöpfen versehen werden. wäre ich nicht so schrecklich ungeduldig gewesen, hätte ich viellecht noch eine lage leder links auf links auf die rückseite genäht, die dann natürlich ein wenig ordentlicher aussehen würde. aber ich bekenne mich schuldig, ein echter fan von schnellen ergebnissen zu sein.
after the machine embroidery i just trimmed the leather and fixed press buttons. i was to impatient too cover the flipside with a sewed-on second piece of leather for a more neat look. but sometimes i’m just a fan of quick results.
also… habe ich dann ziemlich schnell eine ganze kollektion neuen handgelenk-accessoires gezaubert, passend zur herbstgarderobe. das klappt dann übrigens auch ganz wunderbar mal als last-minute geschenk für eine freundin.
so… i whipped up a whole collection of wrist bands quite quickly, matching the fall clothes of course. these pretty little things are also a super last-minute gift for a friend by the way.

P.S. natürlich kann dieses stickmuster auch wie die
PIMPI CUFFS auf
stoff gestickt und dann verstürzt werden. der unterschied zu dieser sehr beliebten stickdatei ist jedoch, dass sich endlich auch einmal alle bestitzein eines 10 x 10 cm rahmens freuen dürfen, denn das geometrische muster der GEO CUFFS ist auch kleinformatig in gewohnt hoher qualität zu sticken!!! juhu.
