the MARCH FOURTH MARCHING BAND…
… war mein absoluter lieblingsact des STAMP festivals!
… was my absolutely favorite STAMP festival act!

(übrigens… der aufmerksame beobachter wird luzie auf der untersten treppenstufe ganz am anfang des videos und meinen fotografierenden rotschopf am ende kurz sehen! ;)
(the close observer will see luzie on the stairs right at the beginning and my photographing redhead at the end of the video btw… ;)
the MARCH FORTH MARCHING BAND wird übrigens noch einmal morgen abend in der MARKTMALLE hamburg auftreten… und außerdem am samstag, dem 11.09. in LEER auf schloss evenburg! vielleicht habt ihr ja lust. ich kann nur sagen, das lohnt sich zu sehen!
.. the MARCHING FOURTH MARCHING BAND will perform one more time at the MARKTHALLE, hamburg tomorrow night… and you can see them on saturday, 11.09. at the evenburg castle in LEER… in case you want to see them live. it’s really worth it… just saying!

krankenlager…
sick bed…
ich hab’ jetzt gesellschaft auf meinem krankenlager bekommen. mein lieblingsmann zeigt sich gern mal solidarisch, was grippale infekte angeht. nun ja, dann machen wir eben mal gemeinsam  halblang… lesen, dösen, trashTV … während luzie mit oma & opa ausflüge ins planetarium macht.
und gute musik hören hilft ja angeblich auch beim gesundwerden…
got some sick bed company now. my hubby likes to express his solidarity with me concerning my cold. well, ok… so we let ourselves go a bit… reading, snoozing, trashTV… while luzie’s spending time with granny & grandpa at the planetarium.
supposedly good music’s got healing vibes too…

 

wer hätte gedacht, dass hupfdohlen-mucke in so etwas genial cooles verwandelt werden kann? *whao*
who whould have thought that teeny mainstream music could be metamorphosed in such ingenious coolness? *whao*

70s musik???

oh mein gott, das ist ja nochmal ein thema, was mich jetzt mehrere abende kosten kann… *lach* ich LIEBE 70er musik! da meine eltern sehr jung waren, als ich auf die welt kam… meine mutter war gerade mal zarte 18 und mein vater 21 jahre alt, könnt ihr euch vorstellen, dass ich mit seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehr viel lauter musik aufgewachsen bin! ;o)

also nichts leichter als das, nicki… da fallen mir als allerallererstes THE SWEET ein! sooooooooooo genial!

OMG… this is a topic that can keep me up for several nights! *lol* i LOVE 7os music! my parents were so young when i was born… my mom sweet 18 and my dad 21 years old, so you can imagine that i grew ups with loooooooooots of loud music! ;o)

well, so it’s quite easy, nicki… first first first of all THE SWEET comes into my mind! soooooooooo ingenious!

… anfang der 90er habe ich übrigens kaum ein konzert der coverband SWEETY GLITTER verpasst… ausstaffiert mit ultrakurzen röckchen und original 70er plateaustiefeln aus dem fundus meiner mom habe ich jedes lied lautstark mitgegrölt! :oD

… by the way… beginning of the 90s i used to go to nearly every concert of the “coverband” SWEETY GLITTER… dressed up in ultra-short skirts and original 70s high-heel boots i chanted every song! :oD
