trekking shoes…
… habe ich bisher nicht besessen. wer mich genauer kennt, der weiß auch wieso. wandern und spazieren stehen nicht ganz oben auf meiner prioritätenliste, bei wind und wetter schon gar nicht… und für die paar mal, die ich das alle jubeljahre tue, reichen auch ein paar chucks. zumindest bisher.
aber manchmal kommt es ja anders als man denkt und vor allem viel überraschender und plötzlicher und unverhoffter als man denkt. so weiß ich eben erst seit letztem mittwoch, dass ich heute nach zagreb in kroatien fliege. seit freitag-nachmittag weiß ich, wann ich losfliegen werde und dass ich ein paar trekking-schuhe mit möglichst grobem profil brauche. ich kann bis heute nicht ganz glauben, wie ich dazu gekommen bin… also zu den schuhen schon, die habe ich im laden gekauft… aber zu dem trip nach zagreb. aber ich weiß, das wird so richtig aufregend… ich werde berichten, versprochen!
… i didn’t have some until now. people who know me do know why. hiking really isn’t the first point on my personal priority-list… i rarely do it and if i do it i think wearing my favorite chucks works well.
but sometimes things happen… and they happen quite suddenly and surprisingly and unexpected. last wednesday i didn’t know that i’d fly to zagreb in croatia today. until friday afternoon i didn’t even know when to fly or anything about the fact that i would need some hiking shoes. yet i don’t know how this all happened… well, i don’t mean the shoes, i purchased them in a store of course… i mean how i got to go on this trip. but i now it will be quite thrilling… i’ll report, i promise!
