sommerlicher ostwind

ich liebe tuniken. die haben was folkloristisches und lässiges zugleich
und machen einfach sommerlaune. zu meiner neusten tunika-errungenschaft,
in khaki mit bunter stickerei am ausschnitt, wollte ich unbedingt einen passenden pimpiCUFF haben.
i really love tunics. they are folkloristic and casual at the same time and they just feel like summer. i got me this khaki one with colorful embroidery at the neckline lately and now i wanted to have a matching pimpiCUFF as well. 
ich habe mich sogar wieder einmal im perlensticken versucht. das habe ich seit ewigkeiten nicht getan und ich muss zugeben, vor 10 jahren ging mir das auch irgendwie besser von der hand!
i even tried myself to make some bead embroidery by hand again. i didn’t make some for ages!
so fiel das ergebnis etwas weniger opulent aus als geplant, aber es gefällt mir trotzdem sehr!

so the whole thing turned out to be a litte less abundant than planned but i love it anyway!

wenn es euch auch gefällt, dann habe ich vielleicht gute neuigkeiten… ich habe 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, mehr gemacht! zwar nicht mit perlen bestickt, aber jeweils mit einem wunderschönen vintage knopf verziert… und die wandern jetzt gleich mal in den pimpinellaSHOP.
if you like it too, i’ve got some good news for you… i made 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, more! without beads but still with some awesome vintage buttons and they are going to be listed at my pimpinellaSHOP now.

der farb-lemming…
the color lemming…
… hat wieder zugeschlagen. ihr wisst, ich bin einfach zu anfällig für trendfarben.
… strikes again. you know that i am far too prone to trend colors.
die ersten sommerklamöttchen sind eingezogen…
the first summer outfit just moved in…

   
… und ein passendes accessoire habe ich mir auch gleich gemacht.
p.s. tatsächlich habe ich drei LOVEchirp pimpiCUFFs gestickt… eins für mich und zwei für den SHOP. nur falls ihr auch ein farb-lemming seid… ;)

frühlingsfrisch & knackig
spring fresh & crisp…
… und jüngst aus dem eulen-ei geschlüpft ist das neueste familienmitglied der SCHUpimpskis. doch schon ist es flügge und flattert gleich aus dem heimischen nest ins SHÖPchen!  
… is the youngest family member of the SCHUpimpskis, recently hatched from the owls egg. already fully fledged it will make its way from the home nest into the little SHOP now!

missed for long…
… doch endlich wieder da!
wie ich meiner mailbox schon entnehmen konnte, freuen sich einige von euch so richtig darüber!? ich auch!!! :) das pimpinell’sche VÖGELCHENband gibt’s ab sofort wieder in meinem SHOP und natürlich auch bei FARBENMIX!

lookin at my mailbox i can see that many of you are happy about these news!? me, too!!! :) as of today the pimpinellish BIRDY ribbon is available at my SHOP and at FARBENMIX again!

STAMP it!
sicherlich wusstet ihr nicht, dass ich in den 90ern mal eine ganz leidenschaftliche stemplerin war!? in einem großen schubladenschrank unten in meinem nähzimmer lagern immer noch tausende gesammelte stempel. MAIL ART… das war mein hobby damals, lange bevor das nähen seinen platz einnahm. ich liebte die stempel von  rubber baby buggy bumpers (gibt’s es die noch?), stamp francisco und stampington & co. bis jetzt habe ich es nicht über’s herz gebracht, meine sammlung aufzugeben.

in letzter zeit kommen sogar wieder neue stempel hinzu… eigene PIMPINELLIGE! :)
probably you didn’t kow that i was a passionate rubber stamper in the 90s!? i still store my collection of thousands of rubber stamps in a large drawer in a corner of my sewing studio. MAIL ART… that was my hobby long before sewing took over. i loved the stamps of the rubber baby buggy bumpers (do the still exist?), stamp francisco & stampington & co. i never had the heart to give up my collection.
instead of that my rubber stamp collection is growing again by adding some own PIMPINELLISH ones! :)

frühlingslaune…
spring mood…
ich gebe es zu, sobald der weihnachtsbaum klinisch tot ist und sich in nadelhäufchen ergossen hat, könnte von mir aus der frühling losgehen. von dem war heute, am offiziellen baum-rausschmeiß-tag, weit und breit nichts zu sehen, stattdessen übles glatteis am ersten schultag nach den ferien, na dankeschön!
ich möchte traubenhyazinthen auf dem tisch, zwitschepiepsende vögel im garten und einen blühenden pflaumenbaum! ok, ostereier auspusten möchte ich nicht, aber das kann ja auch der lieblingsmann machen… ;)
i admit that i wish for spring as soon as the christmas tree is actually dead and regorged itself in heaps of needles. but even though it’s the official boot-out-the-tree-day today, spring didn’t show. not a bit! we had some very bad black ice instead on this first day of school. well, thank you very much!
i want grape hyacinths on the table, chirping birds in the backyard and a blooming plum tree! ok, i don’t want blowing out easter eggs… the hubby can do this, please… ;)
ich will meinem roten lieblingsmantel wieder tragen!
i want to wear my favorite red coat again!

im november habe ich sie gemacht, ihr habt sie vielleicht längst oben im banner gesehen. aber dann kam der schnee und die brosche kam mir irgendwie nicht wirklich winterlich vor und ich habe sie erst einmal zur seite gelegt.
aber JETZT würde ich sie wirklich gern tragen… ich hätte wirklich gern frühling. WIRKLICH!
{falls noch jemand ein bisschen frühlingslaune zum anstecken braucht…
ich habe auch ein paar für’s SHÖPchen gemacht}
i made it in november, maybe you spotted it in my banner. but then the snow came and suddenly the brooch just wasn’t winterly enough for my personal taste anymore. so i put it aside.
but NOW i really loved to wear it… i really loved me some spring. REALLY!
{just in case one of you might need a little spring whimsy, too… i made some more to list them at my little SHOP}

wieder da…
back on stock…
… ein kleiner mokka passt doch fast immer, oder? das war zumindest die meinung von vielen, die das dunkelbraune pimpinellaPAISLEY webband offensichtlich vermissten, nachdem FARBENMIX es aus dem programm nahm. deshalb haben sich janina uns sabine doch entschlossen, es nun noch einmal zu produzieren! manchmal hilft wünschen eben…
das PAISLEYband in MOKKAbraun ist also ab sofort auch wieder in meinem SHÖPchen zu haben. ich freu mich!
… a little mocca is always nice, don’t you think? well, at least many of you seemed to think the same…  missing the dark brown pimpinellaPAISLEY ribbon when FARBENMIX ran out of it. so janina and sabine decided to reproduce it now!
i just relisted the PAISLEY ribbon in MOCCA brown again at my little SHOP! … yay!

well, i had some yoyos left… they were suppose to embellish an advent wreath, but now they endet up to be some FLORAfox brooches!

ich war ziemlich froh, dass ich mein eigenes armband für das shooting genommen habe und nicht einen für den SHOP bestimmten, denn natürlich musste der peppermann direkt wieder die katernase da reinstecken! *pffff* unverbesserlich der kerl… aber wehe ich will mal fotos von IHM machen, dann haut er ab!
… and NO, not for the cat! ;)
i was glad to have taken my own cuff  but one for the SHOP to do the shooting , because the peppeman has to poke his nose into it… of course! *pffff* he is just incorrigible… but dare to take pictures of HIM on purpose and off he is!

die maschinchen schnurren…
the machines are buzzing again…
… endlich wieder! viele produktionen der letzten tage wandern ins KÖFFERCHEN… aber nicht alle…
… finally! many items i made recently will move into the SUITCASE… but some of them… 
… diese MADAME PIMPINELLSKOVA und die beiden lulu SCHUpimpskis wandern nämlich gleich ins SHÖPchen!
*schwupps* und schnell wieder an die maschinen… bis später!

frisch geschlüpft!
newly hatched!
lasst mich euch das neuste mitglied der pimpinellaFAMILIE vorstellen, das nesthäkchen sozusagen… ihr name ist “lulu SCHUpimpski”!
let me introduce you to the newest little member of the pimpinellaFAMILY… her name ist “lulu SCHUpimpski”!
sie hat einen blumigen augenaufschlag und hinreißende pompom-wimpern…
she’s got a bloomy glance with adorable pompom lashes…

… ein herziges bauchtäschchen für kleine, geheime geheimnisse… ;)
… a heartshaped belly pocket for little secrets… ;) 

und klar… sie hat bereits einen fan! wegen der pompoms, vermute ich.
lulu SCHUpimpski und ihre bunten eulengeschwister suchen ab sofort ein neues zuhause, denn hier sind sie ja, wegen des pompom-problems, ihres lebens nicht sicher. ein adoptionsverfahren kann jederzeit in meinem pimpinellaSHÖPchen eingeleitet werden…  SCHUUU-HUUU!
and of course… she has a fan already! it’s because of the pompoms, i suspect…
now lulu SCHUpimpski and her colorful owl siblings need a new home, since (because of the pompom-problem) they are not safe in this house. if you are interested in an adoption you can find more information at my pimpinellaSHOP… SHUUU-HUUU!
